#Throwback Today, we’re throwing it back to when the National Designated Authority operating under the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment took part in the commemoration to mark World Environment Day. This day is observed annually on 5th June to raise awareness on the importance of preserving mother earth.

This year’s event was commemorated under the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution”.

As the National Designated Authority , we recognise that Ending plastic Pollution is not only an environmental imperative but also a Climate necessity. We are also aware that aligning our climate finance efforts with solutions to plastic Pollution, promotes support for a future that is cleaner, more resilient and more sustainable.

The National Designated Authority is committed to advancing projects that transform waste into opportunities, reducing emissions and building a Climate Resilient nation.
