Ms. Sun CHO is in the country with Mr. Euan Low, Eastern and Southern Africa Sub-Regional Lead and Head of Delegation for this mission to Zambia, also accompanied by Mr. Mihir Sorti, Senior Sustainable Mobility Specialist, Department of the Africa Region.
During the visit, the GCF delegation will focus on the following issues:
1. Strengthening country engagement through dialogue with key national stakeholders for programming.
2. Representing the GCF at the ASCENT Week (22 to 26 September 2025)
3. Reviewing the project pipeline and approved portfolio (Readiness and FAs)
4. Discussing the New Readiness strategy and GCF placement.
5. Furthering a discussion on country platform, as communicated to the office of the GCF Executive Director.
