The objective of the tour is to benchmark against the experience of Zambia’s Green Climate Fund ( GCF) accredited Direct Access Entity (DAE), the Zambia National Commercial Bank (ZANACO) and learn from the policies implemented by the Zambian National Designated Authority (NDA). Eswatini Development and Saving Bank has been nominated as a DAE by Eswatini’s NDA.
The delegation paid a courtesy call on MGEE Permanent Secretary Dr. Douty Chibamba who commended the team for initiating the process for GCF accreditation to enable them mobilize climate finance to build climate resilience.
Dr. Chibamba said the visit underscores the importance of South- South Cooperation.
